Michel Gondry is back, with a delightful video for LA-based singer-songwriter Mia Doi Todd's seductive Latin-jazz song Open Your Heart.
Michel Gondry is back, with a delightful video for LA-based singer-songwriter Mia Doi Todd's seductive Latin-jazz song Open Your Heart. Michel's taken different creative impulses - the big, beautifully-produced ambitious vision, and the homemade personal project - and put them together. It's imperfect, but that's okay - its still great. Filmed in and around MacArthur Park in downtown LA, it took a lot of specially-made shirts and huge cast of extras to make it happen. Some of them got quite dizzy at the end. Marvellous.
