Corby Ortmann directs a charming lo-fi animated promo for Minneapolis singer/songwriter Ted Hajnasiewicz.Like a black and white storyboard brought to life, the video follows a cartoon version of Hajnasiewicz as he moves apathetically through his day, waiting for a reply via text message. After trawling through the city, we cut back to realise he hasn't responded to the first message, and the rest of the video is in his imagination.Ortmann's video illustrates the story in Hajnasiewicz's lyrics in a straightforward fashion that complements the track. And that's just fine.
