NEONXFLUORESCENT directs another entry into his enigmatic series of promos for rapper NOBAKINGSODA. The video for Palais Venitien keeps the same stripped-back, minimalist aesthetic as the previous visuals, with a focus on atmospheric cinematography and abstract conceptual elements - including another appearance from the mysterious wolf character. "Palais Venitien is a large lavish home that inspired NOBAKINGSODA to write the track," the director explains. "When speaking about making a video for it, I suggested something stripped back, as I felt there would be no way to recreate or surpass the elegance of the building on film without the whole endeavour ending up gaudy."I'm a big fan of simplicity and holding the audience's attention, so we ended up with a static video and minimal camera movement. The initial idea - equally as simple but totally different - hit a bit of a major hitch which helped me create this version."

Troy Roscoe directs a turbulent promo for Afrobeat star Black Sherif and Mabel, spanning a series of riotous vignettes, in elevated, enigmatic locations.Boasting a surreal atmosphere - achieved through off-kilter composition and abstract lighting - the video for Zero is a fresh and rousing feat, with brilliant performances and characteristically confident direction by Troy Roscoe. "We aimed to establish a striking contrast between the serene demeanour of the artists and the chaotic background," Roscoe explains. "While the artists remained relaxed and composed, unaffected by the turmoil surrounding them, the background characters engaged in heated arguments, hair-pulling, and food throwing."To emphasize this dynamic, we shot a significant portion of the video with static frames, enhancing the overall artistic aesthetic."
