Daisy Dickinson takes us on a trip through an experimental dreamscape, in her promo for Dana Gavanski's Indigo Highway. Performing on the South Downs we see Gavanski multiplied across various landscapes, forming abstract patterns with her movements and being ripped from the image and replicated in some kind of distorted 3D space.The lo-fi nature of the cinematography lends itself brilliantly to the concept, with the line between reality and the "other" realm being crushed and reinterpreted through hypnotic, rudimental visual effects. “The video was shot between the chalk ridges of the Downs and the seaside cliffs of Rottingdean," says Daisy Dickenson. "The mirror acts as a portal into a dream realm, echoing Dana into infinity.”
