LAUZZA directs a characteristically anachronistic promo for highly rated young South London rapper and singer Jim Legxacy. The video for '06 Wayne Rooney is a VFX-infused trip through Noughties footie culture, from Playstation games to trading cards - much in the now-trademark style of LAUZZA's videos for Pozer, Niko B, PinkPantheress, Nia Archives and more, and released on his own YouTube channel. Executed with a stunning breadth of effects work, the video exudes a nostalgic, early-internet feel, taking inspiration from console games, TV idents and kids advertising. And like his previous videos in the past year or so, the all-encompassing vision also serves to push the LAUZZA brand. And that includes tie-in merch - trading cards and a poster - available from the LAUZZA Store. Quite possibly LAUZZA's best executed vision to date, it's a highlight reel of his style and visual sensibilities. And what's more, LAUZZA got the thumbs-up from Wazza himself, for his sterling work...
