Laurence Warder directs an entertaining surreal adventure for Rag'n'Bone Man, where the artist's body and head meet for the first time. The video for Pocket is a colourful and surreal take on the feeling of a first date, and being 'put in someone's pocket' - and it takes Rory Graham, aka Rag'n'Bone Man, in a more lighthearted direction in a video than we have previously seen. With judicious use of VFX - including a head designed by Will Harvey at Monster FX - Warder gives his interpretation of putting oneself back together, as the delivery of a surprise package - Rag'n'Bone Man's head - begins a whirlwind relationship between head and body, set against the backdrop of Margate's seafront. The visual effects and experimental perspectives add a hallucinatory feel to the visual, which ramps up in weirdness right until the climax, where the artist is able to put himself together again. Absorbing and fun, and certainly different to a usual Rag'n'Bone visual, it absolutely knocks it out the park.
