Erin Murray follows up her groundbreaking VR sex comedy for Bambina's Anyway U Want It with another combination of live action and videogame-related animation for Dillon Francis - in a highly entertaining cautionary tale about trying to stay relevant with 'the kids' on the internet. Featuring comedian Bobby Lee alongside Dillon and featured artist Rei Ami, it begins with each one dealing with the insatiable demand for 'NPC content' and restless social media interaction. While Dillon is initially sceptical, Bobby and Rei dive right in with making additional content for the fanbase - and soon things are taking a surreal and uncanny turn: 3D scans of the characters start to appear and intrude on every aspect of their lives. In particular, Bobby Lee finds nowhere to turn as warped CGI mutant versions of himself emerge from everywhere, even falling from the skies... As with the Bambina video, Murray collaborated with animator Pete Puskas to create the animation intruding into real life - which are more sophisticated, and therefore even more off-kilter and weird. Goes without saying that real life will never be the same again...
