KC Locke unveils the haunting promo for Pip Millett ft Ghetts' Running. The concept takes place inside a period manor house, where a fearful lead character is trying to escape the labyrinthian halls. Echoing the Sunken Place in Jordan Peele's Get Out, the country estate is furnished with colonial royal portraits, which seem to stalk and follow the actor's every move, lamenting the illusion of freedom and the fallacy of equality in society. Best summed up by lyrics in the track - "Black and free, I don't think that's a thing" - this is powerful and thought-provoking work, anchored by brilliant performances from both the lead actor and Millett/ Ghetts.
