Nathanael Draper directs an avant garde promo for rock band Eclectic Shock Therapy.The video for Void is greatly inspired by the liminal space aesthetic, and takes place in a threadbare room which contains only a PC and a desk. The one and only character in the video is wrestling with entrapment in this artificial world, and as we spend more time with him, things get increasingly weird. Boasting a lo-fi aesthetic, which bridges the line between DIY found footage and public access television, the promo is visually absorbing, sustains across the eight-minute track with full of fun moments.
