Chris Ranson's video for Banners' Shine A Light is the follow-up to his video for the artist's Ghosts, with a dramatic narrative starting on the image of a motorcycle crash, and the young male lead injured in the accident. Then he recovers only to confront the chilling scene of his girlfriend being kidnapped by gangsters. Our hero steps in to save the day, setting off a cat-and-mouse chase scene, that resolves itself in an abandoned building...Chris, who started is career as an editor, working in Soho on videos and commercials, has gone on to direct videos for artists including Jon Hopkins, Scorcher and Thomas Jack, and he has now joined Crossfire Productions for music videos and commercials.
