The sensational promo for Audrey Nuna's Locket, in which the US rapper/singer takes centre-stage in a gripping art gallery concept, was Valentin Petit's final project before his tragic death earlier this year. Posthumously released, its now it has been recognised at this year's UK Music Video Awards with four nominations. The video takes place in a stark white gallery space at a private view, where Audrey is the statuesque figure observing the mini-vignettes unfolding around her, featuring a variety of larger than life characters with one thing in common - they are all too self-absorbed to pay attention to the art in the gallery. With brilliant camerawork, great casting and unbounded dynamism to go with the high concept playfulness, Locket exemplifies the character of its creator - who is properly acknowledged at the very end of the video. It's breathless and brilliant, as it takes you on a terrific journey.A tour de force of creative magic, it cements the legacy of Valentin Petit as one of the industry's most accomplished voices.

To commemorate the re-opening of Tate Modern, director-choreographer Holly Blakey has collaborated with songwriter Mabel (daughter of the fabulous Neneh Cherry) to create this high-fashion video project for her track Talk About Forever. Using Gustav Metzger’s 1965 piece Liquid Crystal Environment - an immersive light display using heat-sensitive liquid crystals exhibited at the Tate Modern as inspiration - the film sees Mabel and her band of dancers channelling their inner Aaliyah around the newly created space. With some carefully considered steadicam shots and some gripping contemporary dance, the resulting video is eyecatching to say the least. “As a kid I adored music videos with choreography," says Mabel. "Destiny’s Child routines were often rehearsed with my sister and then we forced our family to watch multiple performances. I wanted to try to do an up-to-date version of that, using Metzger’s Liquid Crystal Environment and the incredible Tate Modern building as our setting.”
