Jack Lightfoot directs an absorbing lyric video for Sam Tompkins. In a simple yet compelling one-shot concept, we see Sam perform as the lighting transitions around him, and fluffy clouds pulsate like storm clouds. "It was great to be back on set again with Sam and the team," Lightfoot mentions, referencing Blindeye's three collaborations last year, including one he directed for Lose It All. "The creative came in from Mitchell Peryer, and we knew we wanted to run it as a simple locked-off one shot."We programmed lighting changes across the track to take us on a journey from sunset, to dusk, to night time, to dawn, whilst also playing with lighting inside the clouds to add another element to the video. And once again, all held together by Sam's stunning vocals."

The long and short of this video is clouds - nothing more, nothing less - but don't be fooled into thinking this is a half-baked concept. Filmed over the UK’s first coronavirus lockdown, the visual is a reflection of time passing in social isolation, mesmerisingly edited to meditative effect, matching the lilting instrumental theme with each carefully considered cut. Dreamy and breezy, it's very different but fun - and rather soothing.
