Talia Beale directs an oddball feast of stop motion animation and live action in her second video for Dublin experimental hip-hop/neo-soul band band Bricknasty.

In the video for the pulsating Honey Bee, Beale puts band frontman Fatboy inside the head of a gremlin-esque creature lurking on street corners, while beetle-like insects gather to celebrate a birthday party.

Animated by Gavin Avenue, Luc Amaden and Ryan Vautier, it's great to see these old-school animation techniques employed for a music video. And this unexpected visual representation for the song also projects a message about the band: Bricknasty are doing things a bit differently from everyone else.
