Nacho A. Villar captures the bittersweet ache of exile in his video for TIF, taking the rapper back to his Algerian homeland.

Filmed in an Algerian coastal town and the vastness of the Sahara desert, Villar - of former duo BRBR - brings his distinct signature of global storytelling to a film that unfolds as a sweeping, modern fable on youth, heritage, and displacement.

The emotional heartbeat of Villar's film is anchored by rising young actor Youssef, whom the director guides through a devastatingly raw, poignant breakout performance, while the director positions TIF as a silent, haunting observer traversing an Algeria of infinite richness. 

The tension builds toward its final fracture, where the abrupt end of collective youth directly mirrors the heartbreaking loss of the homeland itself. It's another powerful directorial statement from Villar, formerly of directing duo BRBR, following his haunting coming of age-related story for Milo J's 'Niño, released earlier this year.
