Morrissey 'The Monsters Of Pig Alley' by Lewis Cater
Rob Ulitski - 12th Mar 2026
Lewis Cater directs an emotional narrative for Morrissey.Â
The video for The Monsters of Pig Alley follows a homebound dreamer (played by Thomas Malloy) as he swaps tea and jam for lights and fame.
It's a tragic rise and fall story of a young aspiring actor, caught between ambition and family. The higher he climbs, the more he loses.
The storyline echoes the theme of the track - from Morrissey's just released new album Make-up is a Lie - and the contrast of the black and white 'acting' vignettes and raw, gritty reality, gives the video a cinematic aesthetic that feels rich and authentic.Â
