Genre-defying Londoners Visions Of Hell have teamed up with AI visionaries Blatant Space to create a surreal, grotesque and ultimately touching piece that looks at modern alienation through an ambiguously vintage lens.

Evoking a dark, abstract aesthetic, the video for Unjust Memes brings a textural, anachronistic vision to the fore. Haunting, garish characters warp and clash in hypnotic landscapes, like a parallel-world version of kids TV. Just much more surreal. 

The wild and wonderful concept helps to avoid the many pitfalls common with generative AI - inconsistent textures, uncanny faces and so on - and also fits the hallucinatory track thematically. 

The piece epitomises the sort of fears and warnings found in much 20th century science fiction, that in the face of a relentless pursuit of technological advancement, we should not risk losing our humanity.
