An outstanding video for the very promising indie band English Teacher, directed by Sarah Oblesby and the band's own Douglas Frost.
Frost appears briefly with other bandmembers but lead singer Lily Fontaine is unquestionably the star of the show, as she wanders through a pub performing Albert Road - then jostled by its unfriendly patrons, and thrust into a ghostly version of the place, confronted by the vision of a young girl (herself?) on a TV screen.
It leads to an ambitious, transcendent final shot...Â
