Simon Lane directs an ethereal dance-based promo for singer-songwriter Sandrayati Fay.

The video is simple in concept - expressing a New Dawn, delicately expressed through movement - yet the tender cinematography by Jake Gabbay, shooting on 16mm, and Lane's considered direction ensure this is an absorbing piece of work. 

Everything from the art direction to the choreography is inspired by Sandrayati's connection to home, which creates an intimate connection and another layer to the emotional compexity of the project.
