Joe Jeffreys directs a thought-provoking promo for rising indie-rock band The Utopiates. 

The lo-fi video interweaves studio performance footage with stock imagery, and conceptually explores the band's disillusion with the state of modern life. 

The visual treatment creates a clear contrast between the quick-cutting vibrancy of the stock montages (representing the frenzy of modern life) with the more static, formal band performance.
