Rob Ulitski - 26th July 2021

Seb Tabe directs a double feature for Cityboymoe's Royal Rumble and Mr Nice Guy.

The first video shows the artist reflecting on the dangerous environment around him, with drug deals and violent crime taking place with a day-to-day nonchalance.

Tinged with surreal green tones, the aesthetic represents an out of body experience, a theme which is carried into the second video - set in the green fields of the English countryside.

In Mr Nice Guy, the sense of Cityboymoe's escape is palpable. But as he walks through the countryside, scenes from his fierce urban life begin to appear on his walk, reflecting his anxiety.

Seb Tabe has done a really good job delivering a thought-provoking visual to reflect the important themes in Cityboymoe's lyrics.
