Maeve finds herself in up to her neck, in Joshua Trigg's haunting promo for Sick. 

Exploring self-trust and infatuation, the video is heavily influenced by performance art and abstract concepts, and offers an alternative perspective on relationships and love in the 21st century. 

Rising star Maeve's performance is bold and unflinching, as she embraces the messiness that comes with life in the modern world - and from being buried in a load of soil too.

"The video is inspired by Funkadelic’s Maggot Brain and performance artist Marina Abramović’s Rest Energy," explains Trigg. "We basically were just very excited to bury someone alive! We loaded a studio full of topsoil and played with some clever choreography. All shot on 16mm."
