16-bit animation is not the most likely medium for a feminist/anticapitalist polemic but Chris Fequiere delivers exactly that for Brooklyn outfit Slut Magic.

In this reworking of early videogaming, the bandmembers are rendered as characters battling against the different incarnations of a ruthless Boss and always coming up short. But then Trauma Queen, the avenging angel with guns blazing, to save the day, and usher a brighter future, to an old school surf guitar/spaghetti western soundtrack.
