Che Lingo 'South' by Connor O'Hara
Rob Ulitski - 4th Nov 2020
Connor O'Hara experiments with wildly different perspectives in his latest video for Che Lingo.
The promo for South jumps from air to land, and catching glimpses of South London from unique vantage points.
The aspirational, introspective vignettes are masterfully weaved together through clever transitions and dynamic visual effects, and the abstract cinematography mirrors the artist's sense of boundless energy.
"The idea was to do a total departure from my last video with Che for Dark Days," says O'Hara. "We wanted to make this a homage to where we both live - South London - by seeing it through his perspective as well as through his 'Daemons': a mouse and a macaw.
"We dive through each of their retinas, seeing moments from Che's past alongside their differing perspectives of South."
We wanted to see South London through Che's perspective - and through his 'Daemons' - a mouse and a macaw.
