André Reid creates a 1920s feel for his video for Jaz Karis, set in a Cotton Club-style nightclub. 

The monochrome narrative, filmed at O'Meara in London, follows the male protagonist through the venue, where he encounters Karis and falls in love with the sound of her voice, as she sings onstage for the refined audience.

"I love narrative music videos," says André Reid. "It can be hard to direct those though with male artists though, so I’m glad that’s what Jaz was after when we were going back and forth about the concept. 

"The idea slightly changed as we only had six hours shoot time on the day, so we mainly focused on the important things. But we managed to film quite a bit so we had options in the edit. The crew was fantastic everyone came together for the creative process, and with that we were able to create a lovely piece."
