Welcome to the world of Cole Kush, a Canadian animator who habitually tests the boundaries of CGI and leads the viewer to a very unsettling place, not very far from Uncanny Valley.

His most recent video for TNGHT - a team-up of producers Hudson Mohawke and Lunice - does exactly that, taking the pair through a weird lifecycle in a videogame universe in which they have no control. It gets under your skin in ways that only Cole Kush's work can.

This follows his extraordinary video for Mac Demarco earlier last year, for Here Comes The Cowboy, that is a masterpiece of oddness. And now Kush has a TV show in development (on Adult Swim, obviously) - that will almost certainly be great and terrifying in equal measure.
