Happy Mondays 'The Egg ' by Pete Fowler
UK pop artist legend Pete Fowler brings his inimitable talents to bear on the video for Happy Mondays' lost gem The Egg.
Coming from a new EP of the band's early material, with the help of Polish animators Grupa Smacznego, Fowler has created a potted, psychedelic history of the band's early days in 1980s 'Madchester'.
As well as Shaun, Bez and the rest of the boys who's names escape me, there are cameo appearances by those late great legends Tony Wilson - with the fabled Factory contract the Mondays' signed in '88 or thereabouts - and Howard Marks.
