Ella Eyre, Banx & Ranx ft Kiana Ledé 'Mama' by Taz Tron Delix
Rob Ulitski - 12th Aug 2019
Taz Tron Delix teams up with Ella Eyre, Banx & Ranx and Kiana Ledé to create a dazzling showpiece for Ella's return to action - as they create a world in which Ella can air her boyfriend's dirty laundry.
We are thrown into his world of moving furniture, offbeat images and vibrant colours, that match Ella’s star power energy and fierce dance moves. It's TTD's most commercial video yet, but he maintains his distinctively individual style with disorientating signature camera wizardry, together with moving furniture, offbeat imagery and saturated colour.
Lensed by Hunter Daly, the video is frenetic and hyper-surreal, and flies through a series of conceptual setups to accompany the main performance scenes. The use of bright colour palettes and bold set builds from Jabez Bartlett help marry the concepts together, and performances from Ella and Kiana help ground an idea that could have been overwhelming for a director with less experience.
It's a spicey visual feast for a great late-summer anthem. Now can we have some nice weather to go with it?
