You've heard of punk rock. Now try 'thug baroque'. Andy Mihov's video for band Diamond Black is an elegant, wide-eyed slant on the Eros myth.

Ryan Davies Hall stars as Eros, son of Aphrodite and the personification of sexual desire, and Katrina Lilwall stars as Psyche, who is subjugated, murdered, then freed. This ancient story is rendered luxuriously by DoP Tom Watts, who borrows baroque compositions and and chiaroscuro lighting from Renaissance painters Caravaggio and Titian.
