Nana 'On My Momma' by Andrew Litten
Andrew Litten directs Nana's debut music video for On My Momma, with a vibrancy and wit that makes it a supremely watchable video from start to finish.
At first, it's all lo-fi and night vision, as Nana and his friends head back to his house, to wake up his dear Mom, to play her the song he just made in her honour, followed by a all-action sequence of shenanigans.
Nana's night takes an unexpected turn after lots of Jackass-style goofing around ends with him crashing out of a shopping cart and knocking himself out. And that sends him into a much slicker 'music video world'. It's a nice variation, almost switch-around, of the dream sequence idea that works really well.
And then when Nana finally comes around, back to reality, his good old Mom is there for him...
