Caleb Steph 'Trapped' by Andrew Donoho
An appropriately visceral and claustrophobic music video for 20 year old Virginia-born rapper Caleb Steph's Trapped, directed by Andrew Donoho.
Captured on beautiful black and white 16mm, Donoho has created a kinetic experience in the style of a low budget horror. Firstly, Caleb stretched out on a table in an oxygen mask, with a shocking fate in store; then he staggers around an empty house, releasing smoke as if he's about to spontaneously combust.
Quite different from Donoho's usual high-end, VFX-enhanced work, but brutally effective.
