Ned Botwood's excellent video for Junodream's Terrible Things... follows a young couple falling out of love on a long, boring road trip.

Cutting between the story and a deadpan band performance in a rehearsal space, Botwood draws the different elements together as it progresses: the tense, conversational lyrics of the song bleeds into the crumbling relationship, and a simmering argument that comes to a head on a dark country lane.

There's also some great imagery in the video to enjoy on, with road trip footage that appears shot over a long period through the West Country of England - a man on a flooded street, a seaside idyll startiingly shrouded in fog, countryside lit up with headlights. DoP Jon Muschamp does a commendable job making the long hot summer of 2018 look menacing.
