Geko X Not3s 'Will Smith' by Labi Odebunmi
Labi Odebunmi takes us into the future for this team-up of Geko and Not3s, where we've gone beyond the need for phones. All that tech is absorbed into our bodies - or floats around us.
But of course, in the future, there will still be nightclubs and cocktails...
"I wanted to make a sci-fi, futuristic-inspired video that transported viewers to a bar in the future. Creating a world that allowed the lyrics & performances to thrive while having homage touches to the title/chorus.
"I decided to add an interactive element to the video in that the wrist barcodes Geko & Not3s make payment with in the story are live and can be scanned. All viewers have to do is open the camera on their phones, hover it over the barcode and it will take them to a chosen link instantly. (Try it out). The barcode's content will also change from week to week. Another video trivia - if you Google the "origin" numbers on the boys wrist it will take you to where they began.
"Unfortunately, I don't know how much these features are reflective of what the future holds for our lives ....you'll have to ask Apple or Android."
