Flohio 'Wild Yout' by Duncan Loudon
Duncan Loudon's video for Flohio's 10 More Rounds won him a Newcomer award at the UKMVAs last month. And now his reunion with the London rapper is a more than worthy follow-up.
Like 10 More Rounds, the Wild Yout video is a fantastic vehicle for the talents of a mesmerizing performer. Flohio is a star in the making, and Loudon makes all the right calls in bringing her charisma and her brilliant lyrical flow (she's not called Flohio for nothing) to the screen.
Flohio prowls through less predictable but authentic aspects of London's urban landscape - the scrubby grass banks now allowed to grow wild in it's post-industrial corners. Loudon mixes up his formats, and the superb use of digital fallout and datamoshing FX takes it to the next level.
A terrific video that comes with a promise of great things to come from both artist and director.

Duncan Loudon directs an unnerving, bare-bones cut for his latest collaboration with Flohio.
A Slowthai video by Duncan Loudon? It’s about time. Their first collaboration, starring Denzel Curry, is a sinister chamber piece - half Psycho, half seizure.
This superb video for the exciting young London rapper Flohio by Duncan Loudon scooped a well-deserved award at the UKMVAs last month, for Best Urban Video in the Newcomer category.
