"I wanted to create a surreal world of striking visual metaphors for complex and juxtaposed emotions; a dreamlike window into a journey of rebirth. I got to explore some interesting visual ideas by going with a surreal and otherworldly feel. It's exciting working within a dreamscape style realm. Also it’s always fun to play with a little fire in a video."
