Kelela has got together with the Spanish-born, London-based digital artist Claudia Maté to create this superb animation inspired by The Sims videogame. 

What's impressive is how the Frontline video honours its inspiration by staying true to the aesthetic, and also tells a drop-dead cool tale of empowerment. It begins when Sim-Kelela drives to her boyfriend's place. But what looks like a romantic rendezvous turns out quite differently.
