Director-cinematographer Senzo Ueno's latest Young Juvenile Youth video takes place in an enchanted forest, where flora is fauna, and to enter the forest is to become one with the trees, the rocks and the sky.

Ueno's inspiration is the mysterious substance of Myxogastria - a real yet surreal life form, whose unique properties, representing the interconnectedness of animals, plants and minerals, chronicled as illustrations by the famous biologist Kumagusu Minakata. It's captured by Ueno, by blurring the line between still and moving images.
