All in aid of promoting Mindhorn,  a new film starring Barrett as the aging actor Richard Thorncroft, the video delves deep into the character's backstory - giving a bizarre depth to his shallowness. The video is a hilarious sendup of 80s straight-to-VHS performance videos, which is admittedly a played-out aesthetic now, but there's something undeniably special about Barrett's performance and his dedication to the visual gags that he plants in the promo as often as possible. Plus, it's a damn catchy tune.
