Sam Hiscox provides us with some home-grown ritualistic melancholy in this clip for Matt Maltese.

Creeping through a house where performance and narrative occupy the same frame, Maltese acts as an active narrator to a couple in their final hours on earth. Although to be honest they seem pretty happy about it. There's something quite sweet about this couple who do everything together. Wholesome, romantic things like taking baths together or painting each other grave markers. Hiscox does a great job of building these small moments into a performative crescendo at the clip's climax, too.
