Emilie Norenberg tells the story of a woman coming to terms with the end of her marriage in this tragi-comic video for Billie Van.

The camera is still and contemplative, perfectly composing scenes and allowing the action to unfold in subtle, and not so subtle, ways. With graceful, cinematic composition and attentive production design, the video seems simultaneously modern and like a late-80s period piece.

We study a lead character who we absolutely agree should leave her husband. Her therapy, her performances and her quiet moments are a surreal, funny, and sad tale. Making her final ride off into the sunset the perfect bookend to her arc.
