Alma 'Dye My Hair' by Youth Hymns
Luke Bather - 16th Nov 2016
Youth Hymns bring their hyper-saturated toxic colour palette to a pop performance video.
Alma here sings of dying her hair blonde whilst being accompanied by a dancing duo comprised of more hair than human. Only occasionally do we see any glimpse of the dancer's facial features (they are, of course, equipped with gold teeth) as Alma and the duo dance and sing around a green & pink industrial complex.
It's a bastardised pop performance through the gloriously grungy lens of Youth Hymns - adding some welcome weirdness to the genre...
