Hassan Said has directed an absorbing, skilfully achieved one-shot video for San Francisco band The New Up, set in a club in which one predatory woman's attentions on another similarly dressed female, leads to an ambiguous outcome.

Incorporating the band performing Black Swan in the club, this was shot in 4K on the Red camera by DoP/co-producer Peggy Piralta (aka SteadiPeggy). It also took 22 takes, following five hours of rehearsals. A real labour of love on a micro-budget, and the results are visceral, mysterious, and very impressive.
