Skrillex & Rick Ross 'Purple Lamborghini' by Colin Tilley
If someone had told me last year, as I watched Colin Tilley pick up his UKMVA for Video of the Year that he'd be directing a video for Rick Ross and Skrillex starring Jared Leto as The Joker then I'd have completely believed you, because this is the music video industry and anything can happen.
So here we are - Tilley takes his previous hip-hop video cool and gives it the Hollywood comic book movie treatment. It's a bizarre mashup of supervillainy and gang culture and having Leto in his Suicide Squad character in the video is a nice variation on the movie song tie-in trope of just splicing in arbitrary footage from the film.
