Animator Steve Mertens has created this enchanting, elaborate animated world for Chicago-based pop band Louis The Child's track It's Strange, which features singer K. Flay as our lead protagonist.

It sees the singer going on an adventure through an ultra-vibrant world, casually meandering around under the sea, navigating fiery underground pits of doom like it's nothing, and riding on butterflies among other fantastical things. And as she sings about her newly-found love, intricately drawn creatures such as a beautifully coloured dragon wind through the clouds to the beat of the music.
