Wolf Alice 'Freazy' by Youth Hymns
David Knight - 24th Nov 2015
The prolific Youth Hymns bring their over-saturated hyperreality to young indie rock saviours Wolf Alice's gentler-than-usual Freazy - possibly with their attempt to define exactly what Freazy is.
There's the band having a nice picnic in a mock-woodland glade, looking insane even before they sample some nearby flora and fauna, and go completely off their heads. Nevertheless, YH's Jake, Johnny and Jolyon say that the plant-life ain't to blame for this madness. “We all know that block of cheese is the real star of the show.” And it is likely to make you queasy.
