Guy Davies has directed this expressive, highly stylised video for Alice Olivia's Lovers, staging dramatic scenes of a couple who's having trouble making it work.Â
In Guy Davies's own words, "the video depicts the breakdown of a relationship through visualisations of the artist's memories. Memories, I feel, are often non linear, third person, short moments in which the subjects don’t move much, if at all, but our perspective floats around them. This is essentially what I was trying to capture."
