Cœur de Pirate has released this beautifully-shot performance video for her song Crier Tout Bas, her second collaboration with director Kevin Calero.

Calero was inspired by the visual poetics of Japanese photographer Rinko Kawauchi, and explained to NOWNESS: “The video was shot across vast swathes of California last February. Driving up 5,000ft in altitude in Sequoia National Park at night without winter tires [sic] or phone reception during a snowstorm definitely made this a memorable experience. It felt ironic to have left the Montréal winter to shoot snow-covered sequoias and cacti in California."
