Directing duo Brian And Karl's video for Jack Colwell's Don't Cry Those Tears depicts an emotional performance turned breakdown in a dimly-lit sauna. 

The dark, smoggy intimacy of the steamroom – and the nude men within it – provide an atmospheric backdrop that mirrors the artist's stripped-bare operatics... 

BRIAN AND KARL: 

"We cast Jack as a Teen Angel character descended to a gay sauna to dish out advice that he himself doesn't understand. His music is always so rich and emotive, and we wanted to match that by making something almost purely expressive - the fantasy world of a sauna seemed like a great place to set it in.

"We shot this a year ago on an absolute shoestring, so we thought a lo-fi B-movie softcore porno VHS aesthetic would suit the world as well as being a budget-friendly way of depicting his mental implosion. We shot in an abandoned locker room in Wood Green, and our friends were nice enough to get naked on camera for us.
