Fred Rowson's video for Years & Years's track Foundation, from their debut album Communion, follows a funeral procession permeated with death and decay, which starts with the lead singer Olly Alexander's body lying on a bed of roses.

The mood of the piece is decidedly eerie, and it's only heightened when we realise the cadaver is twitching restlessly, before waking up entirely to stare down at the audience  and deliver an impassioned performance. 

Meanwhile, the hypnotised congregation are attentive only to the unsettling rituals taking place behind him...
