Cold Mailman 'Something You Do' by André Chocron
André Chocron's reunion with Cold Mailman may not be as spectacular as his breakthrough work for My Recurring Dream, but the video for Something You Do is still wonderful - a set of witty set-ups that start to work together in a set of imaginative visual themes.
Whether its the use of smoke, or light, or nudity, or timelapses with food (and André's beard, below), it's all delivered in a understated, part-doc style partly defined by the 1:1 format. And eventually there's a little nod to My Recurring Dream. Lovely stuff.
