'As a man sow, shall he reap'. So begins the video for Daytrip x Vybz Kartel's Up To The Crime, and what follows is a story to back up that biblical statement: a stripped-down slice of pulp fiction, about an ambitious, ruthless young hood with big plans, careering towards a unexpectedly swift end. 

Set in London (but it could be anywhere) and using non-actors, the video's director Act Natural told FADER "it's kind of like a little documentary" in its depiction of the illegal gun trade. And there's certainly an unmistakeable ring of brutal truth about it. Recommended.
